LOUIS VUITTON ASNIÈRES
Asnières workshops — the birthplace of Louis Vuitton’s legendary trunk-making craft, established in 1859.
The project presented a rare and unique challenge: designing within one of the most symbolically charged spaces in French luxury history. NOCOD’s response was to bring the future into dialogue with that heritage — a futuristic architectural intervention that frames and celebrates the Maison’s archival objects without competing with them. Light is used as a narrative tool, directing attention from trunk to trunk, object to object, creating a procession through time.
The result is an immersive exhibition that honors Louis Vuitton’s founding spirit of travel and craftsmanship, while positioning the Asnières workshops as a living destination — as relevant today as when the first trunk left the atelier.
