We took an innovative look on the safari chair, using its history as a design methodology. This object has a complex relationship to the world. Just by its name, it is inhabited by a wild and violent imagination.
Far beyond the simple anecdote, our armchair is like a chimera, it conveys a formal ambiguity: the animal reference is hybridized to the plant reference. A wild chair!
The tension between man and nature is expressed in the formal register of the warrior and its leather armor.
